If you still have your original boot CD, put it in, let it boot then press R at the welcome to setup screen and that should put you into the recovery console. Choose the windows install to repair, then type the administrator password if you assigned one.
At the command prompt, first type chkdsk /r. After chkdsk finishes, reboot to the hard drive. If it keeps looping, boot the CD back into the recovery console but this time type fixboot at the command prompt. Hopefully that should solve it
